Set up Coupons or Coupon Campaigns to generate a certain amount of Coupons as needed to use towards Subscriptions.
Coupons
To create a Single Coupon, use these steps:
- Click on Account Settings in the top right corner
- Select Coupon Codes
- Then click on the New coupon code button
- For the Title, enter the name of the Coupon
- For the Code, enter an unique alphanumeric code (letters, numbers and hashtags (#) only)
- Next, for the Discount, enter the amount and choose between Fixed Amount or Percent
- For the Discount Period, enter in the amount and choose between Payment(s), Days(s), Week(s), Months(s) or Year(s) that the Discount should apply to
- For Affiliate, enter any identifying information for the Affiliate
- For Information Text, include any details or terms on the discount being applied
- Next, for the Products field, either:
- Leave it blank to have the coupon apply to anything
- Add the specific Products to have the coupon only apply to
- Or check the box off next to Select all products to have all Products added that the Coupon will apply to
- If needed, specify the Period of Validity by choosing a Start Date and/or End Date that the Coupon can only be redeemed during
- For Max Use of Coupon, specify how many times the Coupon can be redeemed, or leave it at 0 for unlimited redemptions
- Click Create coupon code to finish. The Coupon can now be used on Subscriptions.
Notes:
- Hover over any Coupon and click on either Edit, Copy, or Delete
- Click on the Export button to download all Coupons as a .xlsx file, the file will contain the same fields that are visible when creating a Coupon Campaign along with these additional fields:
- Using Count - How many times the Coupon has been redeemed
- Using Client ID - The ID of the Client that redeemed the Coupon
- Used Email - The email address of the Client
- Product ID and Product Title - the ID of the Product the Coupon was used on
Coupon Campaigns
Coupon Campaigns allow you to create a Campaign that generates as many Coupon Codes as needed. With multiple Coupons, you can use them in different situations and see which performs more effectively.
To create a Coupon Campaign, use these steps:
- Click on Account Settings in the top right corner
- Select Coupon Codes, then click on the Coupon Campaign sub-tab
- For the Title, enter the name of the Coupon
- Then for Number of Coupons, specify the quantity of Coupons to generate - once this Campaign is saved, this cannot be changed again
- Next, for the Discount, enter the amount and choose between EUR (Fixed Amount) or Percent
For the Discount Period, enter in the amount and choose between Payment(s), Days(s), Week(s), Months(s) or Year(s) that the Discount should apply to - For Affiliate, enter any identifying information for the Affiliate
- For Information Text, include any details or terms on the discount being applied
- Next, for the Products field, either:
- Leave it blank to have the coupon apply to anything
- Add the specific Products or click on Select all to select all Products to have the coupon onlyapply to
- If needed, specify the Period of Validity by choosing a Start Date and/or End Date that the Coupon can only be redeemed during
- For Max Use of Coupon, specify how many times the Coupon can be redeemed, or leave it at 0 for unlimited redemptions by different Clients
- Click Save Campaign to finish
- Next, hover over the Campaign and click on Export to download a .xlsx file. This will contain the list of unique Coupon Codes that can then be used on any Subscription.
Notes:
- If you need to generate more than 1000 Coupon Codes from a Coupon Campaign, reach out to Monsum Support
- Click on any Coupon Campaign to edit it or delete it
Monitor Campaigns
While viewing your list of Campaigns, hover over any Campaign and click on Export to download a .xlsx file. The file will contain the same fields that are visible when creating a Coupon Campaign along with these additional fields:
- Code - This is the unique Coupon Code that can be redeemed by your Clients
- Using Count - How many times the Coupon has been redeemed
- Using Client ID - The ID of the Client that redeemed the Coupon
- Using Email - The email address of the Client
- Product ID and Product Title - the ID of the Product the Coupon was used on
